A twist on a modern carvery serving up delicious roast meat rolls, fresh salads, breakfast and great coffee.
Owner and Chef Eugene Lavery is a resident of South Melbourne. Having spent many years shopping here with his family, he's delighted to have his very own stall in his local Market. He describes Proper and Son as 'fast food service with a slow food ethos, setting the menu weekly based on what we find within the Market and what's in season.'
With him, he brings a passion for great food, excellent customer service and 25 years' experience in top London and Melbourne restaurants. Their signature menu item is the Market Roast Roll with either free-range roast chicken, sage, onion and cranberry stuffing or corned wagyu brisket, pickles, cabbage and mustard.
Available for private functions. Catering available.
