Ride2Work Day

Celebrate National Ride2Work Day at South Melbourne Market Wednesday 14 October.

Saddle up and peddle on down to the Market for a day of celebration, health and wellness and community as we take over Cecil Street for Ride2Work Day. Ride, recharge and reconnect at this free public event promoting sustainable transport, health, wellness, food education and community.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or riding to work for the first time, enjoy a vibrant morning of free coffee and breakfast from 6:30am - 9:30am, plus free bike tune-ups by Back2Bikes, free bike engraving by Victoria Police, live music and entertainment, prizes, giveaways, fun for the kids and more. 

Brought to you by Bicycle Network, City of Port Phillip and South Melbourne Market, this is the biggest Ride2Work Day celebration in the municipality - and one of the largest in Melbourne.
