National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
A 26-year-old singer-songwriter from the Burbs, Melbourne. Influenced by Angie McMahon, Powderfinger, Paul Kelly, Courtney Barnett, Avril Lavigne, Tracy Chapman and Cold Chisel. The result is the beautiful blend of rock, country, indie, singer-songwriter fusion. Ruby’s debut album ‘Baby’ is a culmination of 9 years of writing and ideation. Smashed out in a week of recording with ARIA winning producer Stephen Mowat.
