N’Dene Riley Art
N’Dene Riley is a Parrdarrama Pungenna and Six Rivers Aboriginal woman, a contemporary Aboriginal artist, and a qualified primary school teacher. Through art and education, N’Dene shares culture, story and connection to Country in ways that are accessible, meaningful and grounded in lived experience.
After reconnecting with her Tasmanian Aboriginal heritage, N’Dene has deepened her cultural knowledge through Aboriginal‑identified roles, community work and ongoing learning. Her artwork reflects this journey, bringing together memory, story and symbols through contemporary expression.
Whether creating commissioned artworks, delivering workshops or engaging with community at markets and schools, N’Dene’s practice is centred on sharing knowledge, fostering understanding and keeping culture strong for future generations.
