- 1 large ripe avocado
- 1/2 medium white or brown onion, chopped finely
- 1/2 jalapeno or large green chilli, chopped finely
- 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
- 1 small ripe tomato
- salt, to taste
Cut the avocado in half lengthwise, cutting around the pit. Gently twist the top half of the avocado off to halve the avocado. Carefully tap the pit with the sharp edge of a knife and twist it out.
Using a spoon, scoop the avocado into a bowl. Mash gently with a fork; a little texture is nice in the dish.
Mix avocado with all other ingredients except the salt, taste and add salt to your liking.
Serve guacamole with tacos, corn chips, enchiladas, burritos and more.
