The Off Your Back Coat Drive Is Back

Drop off your pre-loved coats at the Market to provide warmth to those in need

South Melbourne Market are once again partnering with the Off Your Back coat drive this winter. The program is proudly in its 21st year and has grown significantly since its inception.

Over 115,000 homeless Australians will be freezing through another cold winter, particularly here in Melbourne. Donating a pre-loved coat or jacket to Off Your Back will provide warmth and some comfort to those in need.

Coats and jackets in good wearable condition will be accepted for both adults and children. The coats are distributed through various charities, homeless programs and soup kitchens across Melbourne.

The donation drop-off box is located next to the Market information office in Centre Aisle

Collection is from 1 June to 31 August 2023.
