Now Offering Same Day Delivery!
We are pleased to share the news that we will now be offering same-day delivery via South Melbourne Market Direct!
Customers who place an order before 10am on a Market day (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) with SMM Direct will now have the option to have their goods delivered by 8pm on the same day. This means the freshest Market produce (think fresh seafood, bread, fruit & veg and ready-to-eat meals) plus on-demand fashion, skincare and last minute gifts delivered to your home or office within hours.
Our home delivery service launched in September 2020 to ensure our community could continue to support our traders when they could not make it to the Market. The service has offered next day delivery to date, but due to customer feedback, we will now offer a same-day service.
Customers will still have the option to choose a future date for delivery (up to seven days in advance), and goods will still be delivered in refrigerated vehicles to ensure freshness. The service will be available for customers living within a 28km radius of South Melbourne Market - click here to view serviced suburbs.
Our online shopping platform and home delivery service continues to grow, with new features, products and traders added each week. Cannoleria, Tea Drop, SMM Dim Sims, Ruby & Sky and South Melbourne Market Grocer have recently joined the service.
