Stock up on everything you need for a festive feast. From fresh seafood and local lamb to artisan chocolate, specialty hot cross buns and unique gifts. With all your Easter essentials under one roof, it’s the ideal way to support our wonderful traders while preparing for a delicious long weekend. 

EASTER TRADING HOURS

The Market will be open on Thursday 2 April so you can load up on Easter goodies and enjoy some family fun. 

Please note changes to the Market hours.

EASTER BUNNY VISITS 

The Easter Bunny is hopping into the Market with loads of Easter eggs for Market shoppers. Catch our furry friend on: 

  • Wednesday 1 April – 10am to 1pm
  • Thursday 2 April – 10am to 1pm 
  • Saturday 4 April – 9am to 12pm 

Bring the kids, enjoy the festive atmosphere and keep an eye out for the Bunny while you shop for the freshest Easter produce. 

EASTER EGG HUNT - THURSDAY 2 APRIL

Join us for the Market’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, the perfect activity to get little ones excited for Easter.

Starting from 9am, with 30-minute sessions running until 11am, little adventurers can explore the Market, following a special map to track down hidden Easter eggs along the way. It’s fun, festive and a great way to experience the Market together. 

This year, the $5 booking fee will be donated directly to the The Good Friday Appeal, supporting The Royal Children’s Hospital in delivering worldclass care to children and families. 

Places are limited, and booking are essential, so be sure to secure your spot early.

THE JAZZ JOKERS - EASTER SUNDAY 

From 11:30am - 1:30pm, shop for your Easter goodies to the upbeat jazz tunes from the Jazz Jokers. 

These roving jazz musicians are a favourite amongst the Market traders and shoppers and put a smile on everyone's face. 

The Jazz Jokers are the perfect way to brighten your Easter morning shop at the Market.

Easter has come early at Cobb Lane. Choose between two mouthwatering flavours of Hot Cross Buns: Traditional and Chocolate & Sour Cherry.

HOT CROSS BUNS

Agathé - will be offering two indulgent varieties of hot cross buns: classic and chocolate. Varieties are made using Gewürzhaus’ Hot Cross Bun Spice Mix. These fluffy buns will be available from Wednesday 18 March. 

Cobb Lane - Cobb Lane is baking fresh batches of traditional hot cross buns—soft, fluffy and spiced, filled with raisins, citrus peel and mixed spices. They’re also offering a decadent Sour Cherry & Dark Chocolate version, packed with plump cherries and rich chocolate. 

Gewürzhaus - For those who prefer to bake at home, Gewürzhaus offers their signature Hot Cross Bun Spice. Check out the recipe here. They also have a limited season Easter Bun Tea, and Easter Hot Chocolate available only in the leadup to Easter and perfect paired with a warm hot cross bun. 

Moses and Co Moses and Co has a gluten free, vegan version of this Easter favourite, brimming with mixed spice and orange peel, ensuring no one misses out this Easter. 

La Lapa - La Lapa will be serving traditional hot cross buns along with a special Hot Cross Bun Donut, available alongside their popular cakes, donuts and sweet snacks. 

Emerald Hill Deli - Emerald Hill Deli will be serving up traditional hot cross buns this year, freshly baked and perfect for your Easter table.

Atypic Chocolate-Our resident chocolatier has crafted a limited-edition Easter collection featuring two beautifully designed chocolate eggs in milk chocolate, filled with honeycomb pieces and dark chocolate with candied orange peel strips and an adorable milk-chocolate chicken family. Available in-store now, but only while stocks last.
