Emerald Hill Master Plan Community Consultation

We’re transforming the space around South Melbourne Town Hall into a vibrant, art and cultural hub - bringing new life, greenery and energy to the heart of the precinct.

This will be a welcoming pedestrian friendly place for the community to enjoy every day, and a thriving destination for festivals, events and creative expression.

We’re sharing two design approaches for Bank Street - Option A creates a larger open space by closing part of the street, while Option B retains one-way vehicle access and introduces a smaller open space.

We’re seeking your feedback on these options and how you’d like to use the space to help shape the final design.
