The Great Dim Sim Competition
Runner-Up #1
• Dim sim wrappers
• Finely diced red chilli
• Grated ginger
• Cabbage
• Onion
• Sesame oil
• Garlic
• Minced pork
• Salt
• White pepper
• 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1) Add some oil to a frying pan and saute onion till soft. Add the cabbage and wilt down.
2) Mix pork other ingredients not yet cooking together and ensure the mix is well combined.
3) Combine all the ingredients with the minced pork.
4) Roll into balls and wrap in dim sim wrappers.
5) Fry or steam.
6) Eat!

Runner-Up #2
• 1 kg pork mince
• 1 kg chicken mince
• 1 cabbage
• 3 bunches of bokchoy
• 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
• 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
• 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon cornflour
1) Mix all of the above together.
2) Wrap in pastry.
3) Either steam or deep fry.
